Buy your Mazda Miata clutch on ebay, the premier auction site in the world.
Miata clutches last about 80,000 to 140,000 miles, depending on use. If you have bought a used Miata and there is no repair documentation showing there is has been a clutch replaced at some point in time, chances are you will need one soon.
Signs of a worn clutch include a pedal that doesn't take up the clutch until very high in the lifting, and slipping especially in higher gears.
You can replace the Miata clutch yourself but it is very time consuming (5 hours if you are a good backyard mechanic) and air tools are pretty well a must.
If you are planning on supercharging or turbocharging the car, you'll need to install a more expensive clutch or, if you have 1.6 litre car, install a clutch meant for 1.8 litre Miata.
Don't forget that the flywheel must be machined with every MIata clutch replacement, and it's usually a pretty good idea to replace the clutch slave cylinder (the part is not very expensive, and you are taking things apart anyways.)
